Configure the portal-wide placement stage, form availability overrides, and banner messages shown to coordinators and students.

Placement Stage

Controls which placement stage is active portal-wide — this decides which application forms are open and what students and coordinators can currently submit or edit.

Form Availability Overrides

Manually force a placement form open or closed, overriding the Placement Stage above — useful for testing or a one-off exception. Only affects the submission forms themselves, not dashboards or banners.

Direct Placements are also open automatically during Alternate Round, even when this is set to Inherit.

Portal Banners

Show a message at the top of the site — one for everyone, plus separate ones just for students or just for coordinators. Leave a field blank to hide that banner.

Placement Deadline

The exact date and time Priority Placements closes and Direct Placements opens for the current cycle. Update this each year — if left blank or out of date, the site falls back to the first Monday of March.
